Corporate Social Responsibility

Building an ethical, caring, sustainable world is integral to our corporate character. That’s why each of us at 3i Infotech strives to ensure that every business action has the potential to positively impact the 3 Ps: people, planet, and profit.

Through the 3i Infotech Foundation, we carry out corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives focused on nurturing the earth and supporting its people. New recruits are initiated into this caring culture and encouraged to participate in our CSR programs.

We at the 3i Infoetch Foundation believe in what Plato said and are striving to empower less privileged human being through education.

We offer our time, finance, IT resources, and infrastructural assistance in aid of several social causes:

• Eradicating illiteracy (including IT illiteracy) through education
• Empowering people living in rural areas
• Health education and healthcare provision
• Assisting the less fortunate sections of society

We plan to report on our sustainability performance, in keeping with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework to help us track and improve our CSR performance.

Sahayog Pratishthan is a Mumbai-based NGO dedicated to social justice and sustainable development. It aims to bring about improvement in education, social welfare and health in the poor and deprived regions of Raigad, Maharashtra.

3i Infotech Foundation supports Sahayog Pratishthan by providing monetary aid and participating in initiatives like coaching grade 10 students and organizing a mobile science laboratory. We also provide financial and hardware support for several other activities, such as:

• Setting up a new school
• Medical camps to address region-specific medical problems
• Proper sanitation facilities for girls’ schools

The Society for Development of Economically Weaker Sections (SODEWS) is a non-profit organization that seeks to reduce the disparity between rural and urban areas in Tamil Nadu. While SODEWS primarily works in the field of education, it also aims to improve social welfare and provide opportunities for better living.

3i Infotech offers monetary assistance and hardware support for the following initiatives:

• Anganwadis / Balwadis (Pre-primary schools)
• Primary, secondary, and higher-secondary schools
• Computer centers
• Library services
• Construction of hygienic sanitation facilities
• Surveys on education, health, environment, and employment generation

Together with SODEWS, we hope to enrich the lives of people from the rural areas of Tamil Nadu by supporting literacy, providing better healthcare, generating employment opportunities, and building a better tomorrow.
