The world has come to the conclusion that the future of computing, and that of all of the businesses, universities and other organizations that process client data, is in the cloud. In fact, this was a conclusion most reached years ago.<\/p>\n

According to Gartner, global cloud spending will reach nearly $500 billion this year. And with good reason. They were designed by the world\u2019s leading technology firms to provide flexible, agile, always-on, high bandwidth data centers with built in business backup and disaster recovery. It\u2019s what every IT executive is looking for.<\/p>\n

They also built security into the cloud, but that\u2019s a different story. That hasn\u2019t worked out as well. The lists of security concerns with the public cloud are long and COVID made them longer.<\/p>\n
