3i Infotech Achieves PA-DSS Certification
One of First Lockbox Providers to Earn Certification that Protects Payment Cardholders

Edison, NJ - September 21, 2010 - 3i Infotech, a global information technology and transaction services company, announced today that its entire suite of Transaction Management System (TMS) software has been certified as Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) compliant.

"At 3i Infotech, we take compliance and data security very seriously," said Bala Natraj, Chief Technology Officer at J&B Software, a 3i Infotech subsidiary.  "We are among the first lockbox providers to achieve this certification, and we are pleased to offer in-house, outsourced and hybrid solutions that comply with this standard, meaning that we can efficiently and securely meet any organization's payment processing needs."

TMS, developed by J&B Software, combines both retail and wholesale remittance transaction processing in a single platform.  It is the most comprehensive payment processing system available.  The solution has been installed by hundreds of organizations in the financial, credit card, insurance, public sector, transportation and other industries.

As of July 1, 2010, merchants have been required to ensure that all of their third-party software providers use applications that are PA-DSS compliant.  This includes any software application that stores, processes or transmits cardholder data electronically.  Regulus Group, another 3i Infotech subsidiary, is also PA-DSS compliant.
