Framework’s fully-functional General Ledger is automatically updated from the
portfolio. This reduces risk and increases operational efficiency.
The General Ledger allows full IFRS and local GAAP reporting as well as the
consolidation of funds with elimination of inter-fund balances. Financial
statements can be created automatically.
The General Ledger module:
- captures all the nominal information at the time of
entering both the portfolio and fund accounting transactions. This straight
through process ensures that there is no need for a reconciliation between
the nominal and the portfolio.
- enables financial statements to be prepared without
effort for a consolidation of funds or for a subset of information across
funds, e.g. a set of financial statements for a partner invested in many
funds.
- enables the modelling of as many alternate chart of
accounts as required.
- ensures there is a full and comprehensive set of general
ledger reports.
